The Bentley Continental GT is the pinnacle grand tourer – phenomenal power, timeless design and exquisite craftsmanship.
It is claimed to be the world’s fastest four-seater, and is powered by an enormous W12-cylinder, 600 bhp engine capable of propelling this luxury couch over 200mph. Bentley is the benchmark against which all other grand tourers are judged. Its vast power is harnessed with four-wheel-drive, while “torque vectoring” calculates how much power each wheel needs through an eight-speed, twin clutch, self shifting transmission with manual paddle control as well as adjustable air suspension that strikes a decent blend of comfort and control.
Inside, Bentley’s hallmark of luxury embellishes the Continental GT, with the finest leather, turned aluminium fixtures and seamless veneers enveloping the somewhat snug and library quiet interior, although when pushed hard on the track you will fall in love with the addictive deep rumble emitted from the exhausts.
