BMW I3 Junior Rally Experience

The Junior Rally ‘Dirt’ Experience is specially developed for young drivers to explore driving for the first time in the most outrageously fun way possible. You’ll be strapped up next to a professional co-driver to ensure a fun and safe drive while we navigate you around the dirt rally stage.

BMW is famous for it’s motorsport division and developing legendary M cars.The iconic rear-wheel-drive BMW M3 E30 famously thrilled rally fans with its high-revving engine and sideways tarmac style against four-wheel-drive rivals. Here is no different with our fully EV BMW i3 producing 270Nm of instant torque at 0 revs means it has instant power delivery more akin to a WRC car with anti-lag.That kind of torque allows for a constant, more controlled drift in corners, which is incredibly advantageous in holding oversteer throughout the rally stage and avoiding loosing front end traction. This carbon fibre chassis is also incredidibly lightweight making it surprisingly nimble with it’s 50/50 weight distribution, low centre of gravity and short wheelbase. Being RWD – this car is an absolute hoot to drive on and off track and is so much easier to go fully sideways than the 4WD Subaru Impreza’s we also run in the rally fleet.

Now you’ll be driving our BMW i3 to the limit on our dirt rally stage – the perfect proving ground to experience BMW’s incredidible handling which rewards an aggresive technique – powersliding out of the bends spraying mud in your tracks.

*In the event the Rally Stage has had too much rain water we will convert the experience to BMW i3 ‘Tarmac Rally’ or BMW i3 ‘Lap Challenge’

The Junior Rally ‘Dirt Comp’ Experience is specially developed for young drivers to explore driving for the first time in the most outrageously fun way possible, you’ll recieve twice the amount of driving laps to get to grips with the art of rallying. You’ll be strapped up next to a professional co-driver to ensure a fun and safe drive while we navigate you around the dirt rally stage.

The BMW i3 Rally ‘Dirt Comp’ is our most in-depth rally experience, providing the driver more time to learn the handling characteristics of the iconic BMW handling with it’s 50/50 weight distribution and RWD on our dirt rally stage. As you learn differing techniques from your co-driver in order to tackle a range of corners with gradient change, you’ll be pitching the car sideways through chicanes on and off camber and powersliding across long sweeping bends.

The last 2 laps you’ll finish with a timed competition – launch the car from a standing start and see if you can make it onto the leaderboard.

The BMW E30 M3 Rally Car is a legendary rear-wheel-drive machine that famously fought turbo four-wheel-drive rivals on tarmac, achieving peak success through Prodrive with a landmark win at the 1987 Tour de Corse. This aggressive RWD rally car was incredible watch as it drift through corners and here the BMW i3 around our tarmac or dirt stages is no different as you pitch the car sideways keeping your foot pinned on the throttle.

The BMW i3 Rally X ‘Tarmac Comp’ goes a step further into the world of rallying, training you harder for those dramatic and high speed handbrake drift entries, sliding the car with incredible precision around clipping points on the tarmac stage. The Gymkhana time trial will be the highlight of the day as you attempt 2 flying laps against the clock to make it onto the leaderboard!
