Mitsubishi Lancer Rally X ‘Tarmac’ Experience
- 30 minute introductory briefing: covering racing lines, throttle/braking technique and track day safety etiquette.
- 4 x sighting laps including 1 high speed passenger lap in a Mitsubishi Lancer rally car on our tarmac stage.
- 8 laps around our rally x tarmac stage incorporating tarmac circuit driving with a mixed surface section.
- Expert tuition on circuit driving – the racing line, trail braking and weight transfer.
- Expert tuition on Gymkhana precision driving, like you would see from Ken Block’s video’s – how to pull the handbrake on a loose mixed concrete surface at high speed – gear 3 pitching the car sideways decelerating for a technical gear 1 corner around a barrel.
- Practice launching the car at the rally ‘Stop / Start’ sign with a co-driver navigating your route.

- 16 laps around our rally x tarmac stage incorporating tarmac circuit driving with a mixed surface section with a co-driver navigating your route.
- Expert tuition on circuit driving – the racing line, trail braking and weight transfer.
- Practice launching the car at the rally ‘Stop / Start’ sign.
- Expert tuition on Gymkhana precision driving, like you would see from Ken Block’s video’s – how to pull the handbrake on a loose mixed concrete surface at high speed – gear 3 pitching the car sideways decelerating for a technical gear 1 corner around a barrel.
- The last 2 laps will be a timed competition, launched from a standing start to see if you can beat the leaderboard!
Subaru VS Mitsubishi Rally ‘Dirt & Tarmac’ 24 Lap Experience
- 30 minute introductory briefing: covering racing lines, throttle/braking technique and track day safety etiquette.
- 4 x sighting laps including 1 high speed passenger lap in a Subaru Impreza ‘Hawkeye’ rally car on our dirt stage.
- 8 laps driving around our dirt rally stage in a 4wd Subaru Impreza with a co-driver navigating your route.
- Expert tuition on how to power slide out of corners and the iconic ‘Scandinavian Flick’ and the use of the handbrake to pitch the rally car into the corner.
- 4 x sighting laps including 1 high speed passenger lap in a Mitsubishi Lancer rally car on our tarmac stage.
- 8 laps around our rally x tarmac stage incorporating tarmac circuit driving with a mixed surface section.

The Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution gained worldwide fame in the World Rally Championship (WRC) with driver Tommi Mäkinen winning four consecutive World Drivers’ Championships from 1996 to 1999. The car’s development, which spanned from the Evo I to the factory-built Lancer WRC, was characterized by continuous improvement and adaptation to WRC regulations. The Mitsubishi Lancer X is the tenth and final generation of lancer which you’ll be driving around our Rally Tarmac Stage, with an expert rally co-driver navigating you around the course.
The Mitsubishi Lancer Rally X ‘Tarmac Comp’ goes a step further into the world of rallying, training you harder for those dramatic and high speed handbrake drift entries, sliding the car with incredible precision around clipping points on the tarmac stage. The Gymkhana time trial will be the highlight of the day as you attempt 2 flying laps against the clock to make it onto the leaderboard!

Over the years the Subaru Impreza and Mitsubishi Lancer rally cars have emerged as the main contenders in both the WRC and National Group N rally championships.
The rivalry between the Evo and the Impreza was legendary, in 1997 the Mitsubishi drivers’ champion Tommi Mäkinen took the title over the Subaru driver Colin McRae by just one point.
