Motorsport Academy 30 Minute Test

Take the wheel and prove your ability with the Drift Limits Motorsport Academy Licence Assessment.

Designed for adults who do not hold a full UK driving licence, this 30-minute assessment provides the opportunity to demonstrate the skills, awareness and vehicle control required to participate in selected Drift Limits experiences without the need for a road driving licence.

Your session begins in one of our Toyota Aygo training vehicles alongside an approved Drift Limits instructor. Within the safe environment of our private circuit, you’ll be assessed on key driving competencies including vehicle control, steering technique, braking, observation, spatial awareness and your ability to follow instructions safely and consistently.

Unlike public road driving lessons, the focus is on practical car control in a controlled motorsport environment. Throughout the assessment, your instructor will guide you through a series of exercises designed to evaluate your capability behind the wheel and determine whether you are ready to progress onto higher-performance vehicles and experiences.

If successful, you will be awarded a Drift Limits Motorsport Academy Licence. This licence can be used in place of a full driving licence for eligible Drift Limits experiences, granting access to a wide range of driving activities including full-speed supercar experiences and drifting sessions on our circuit.

Safety remains our highest priority, but this assessment is designed to identify capable drivers and provide a pathway into the world of motorsport experiences, regardless of whether you hold a road driving licence.
