No Licence Subaru Rally ‘Dirt’ Experience
- 30 Minute Introductory Classroom Briefing: Covering the basic elements of learning how to drive a supercar, incorporating the basics of steering input, pulling away safely, mirrors and vision, racing lines, throttle/braking techniques and track day safety etiquette.
- Age 8-85.
- 4 x sighting laps in a Subaru Impreza ‘Hawkeye’ rally car on our dirt stage.
- 8 laps learning to drive offroad around our rally stage in a 4WD Subaru Impreza with a co-driver navigating your route upto 40mph
- Expert tuition on how to power slide out of corners and the iconic ‘Scandinavian Flick’ and the use of the handbrake to pitch the rally car into the corner.
- Debrief from instructor to include development of driver training across the session.
This experience is run seasonally from April to October.
Subaru is famous for its rally heritage in the World Rally Championship holding a record tied with the Lancia Delta for event wins and manufacturer world titles for the Subaru World Rally Team. Competing in the WRC for longer than any other manufacturer, with Subaru drivers such as Colin McRae, Petter Solberg and more recently Ken Block – becoming an internet sensation with viral videos of epic 4WD power slides!
Now you’ll be driving our Subaru to the limit on our dirt rally stage – the perfect proving ground to experience Subaru’s 50/50 4WD system giving you enough traction to powerslide out of the bends spraying mud in your tracks at speeds of up to 40mph.
