Evora is the latest British GT car developed to hold its own against far more expensive European and Japanese supercars. It is the most expensive and fastest model in the three-strong range. Lotus are renowned for building the best handling cars in the world and here there is no exception.
When you think Lotus you think lightweight and this GT model with ‘rear seats’ that might suit half a human still only comes in at a featherweight 1248 kg. This lightweight chassis and spartan interior design means that the focus is all about connecting the driver with the car achieving an almost telepathic sense of steering communication making it one of the most enjoyable cars through the tighter parts of the track.
The Evora has grown up a bit and so has the engine, it now uses a Toyota 3.5l V6 power plant giving it plenty of grunt around the Driftlimits circuit.
