We are seeking an experienced ambitious car technician who is looking for an exciting job in our motorsport academy. The applicant must have a well founded skill set whether it be from diagnoses to mechanical or electrical gremlins. Work will predominately involve working on our extensive fleet of track cars also including the occasional customer car.
Being well organised, sociable good with customers and having an interest in racing/drifting or prior experience in a race team would be beneficial. The role may also lead to helping run our experience days track side as an instructor if its suits the applicant and full training will be given in car control.
Applicants will be employed with a full time contract to work at our track in Bovingdon airfield from 5 days to 5 1/2 days a week 8:00 till 5:30 and 8:00 – 2:00 on a Saturday though times can be fairly flexible.
Range from £18k – 23k per annum depending on experience
This is an exciting opportunity to join our leading drifting and supercar experience centre. We are seeking a highly experienced and ambitious master car technician who is looking for an exciting job in a fast paced and ever growing motorsport academy.
The applicant must have an extremely well founded skillset, able to quickly and accurately diagnose both mechanical and electrical issues and solve them under pressure. Must have a wide spectrum of experience and competently be able to rebuild engines/differentials. Ideally the applicant will have fabrication skills and able to think outside of the box. Work will predominately involve working on their extensive fleet of track and super cars but also occasionally working on customer performance cars.
The workshop is based on an attractive farm in a secluded location and allows for plenty of space for car parking. In this exciting action packed working environment the applicant will find a great sense of team building companionship involving very interesting and fun build projects.
Depending on experience and skill set the applicant will either be based more in their performance workshop- focusing on drift and race car builds / repair or potentially trackside if the applicant has extensive track driving experience but not as well founded skills as a master technician. The role may also involve helping run their experience days trackside as an instructor if its suits the applicant and full training will be given in car control.
Being well organised, highly knowledgeable about all aspects of car mechanics, hard working, sociable, good with customers and prior experience in a tuning/performance garage would be beneficial. The Applicant may be expected to manage other colleagues.
Applicants will be employed with a full time contract to work at their performance garage 5/6 days a week 8:00 till 5:00. Working hours can be tailored to suit the individual to some degree.
The applicant must be flexible with working days willing to work Saturday AM at a minimum.
